Welcome to our Community
Our community embraces a rich history rooted in tradition and faith. Together, we embody a spirit of unity and shared purpose.
As Lay Dominicans, we celebrate our connection to the Dominican Order and our location in the heart of northeast Kansas.
How we exemplify the 4 Pillars of Dominican Life…
Prayer. We commit to daily praying the Liturgy of the Hours (morning and evening prayer), as well as the Dominican Rosary.
Study. We regularly engage in individual and group study of topics relevant to the 4 Pillars, and to our growth in sanctity as directed by the Church and our Order. Some examples include:
Aquinas 101 — Dominican House of Studies, Washington DC, USA
Community. In addition to prayer and study, we provide support for each other on the path to sainthood.
